I have put together a collage of some of the disposable lighters from my collection. These are the kind of lighters that get sold at gas stations for less than a dollar. They have translucent bodies and adjustable flames. Despite clear structural conventions there is a wide amount of variation in the metal hood - mostly in the name that is engraved there, but also in its shape.
Note that in every instance "light" or "lighter" is spelled "lite" and "liter." Note also the frequent references to the sun ("Sun Lite," "Solar"...).
